The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of responsibilities within the department including, but not limited to: recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits and administrative support to all employees.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Bi-lingual required - Be the ‘welcoming face’ of HR and represent the department based on culture. - Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance. - Handle or redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team. - Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met. - Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.) - Upon request, support the recruitment/hiring process by coordinating candidates for background checks, offer letters, etc. - Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda - Coordinate and implement training sessions for departments, i.e. monthly, quarterly, etc. - Perform onboardings and update records with new hires. - Oversee State unemployment and verifications of employment. - Data entry daily into HRIS new hires, terminations, changes to status or pay rates and other information as required. - Oversee all aspects of the employment process including employment verifications, job offers and completion of new hire paperwork. - Maintain and update record as needed for required Pyramid Global training programs. - Conduct required training classes as needed. - Support employee group insurance program, including enrollment eligibility, claims inquiries, dependent additions and/or deletions, up-to-date listing of current enrollment, and COBRA requirements. - Assist in planning, coordinating, and facilitating employee relations events including but not limited to:  Employee of the Month, Leader of the Quarter, End of Season Parties, Annual All Employee Meeting, Employee Appreciation Lunches, Summer Picnic and Holiday Party. - Maintain HR calendar, bulletin board and communicate events in a timely manner. - Coordinate all recognition efforts, birthday cards, service/anniversary, and Nudge Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback. - Support other functions as assigned. We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team as a Lobby Attendant. The ideal candidate creates a memorable experience for our guests through their attention to detail and care they take in preparing and maintaining the public spaces and assisting the room attendants.  YOUR ROLE: - Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well - Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness - Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry. - Ensure cleanliness of all public areas to include bathrooms, lounge areas and hallways - Help the room attendants with the heavy lifting when super cleaning / spring cleaning of rooms. - Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures. - Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner. - Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members.   COMPENSATION:$15.74 per hour + Occasional Incentives and the opportunity to grow both in title and in pay into supervisory or management positions such as Housekeeping Supervisors, or Managers and even Executive housekeeper.   BENEFITS: All employees (even part-time) receive free daily hot meals, Free access to fitness center, showers, locker, pool, and hot tub; Free golf, and Zip-Line. We are looking for a leader and someone passionate about the culinary arts to join our culinary team as a Sous Chef.  This individual must have extensive experience working in a high-volume professional kitchen and be a college graduate in the culinary arts.  This individual must be creative, motivated, and a passionate hands-on leader in the kitchen!  Successful candidates for this role will have a proven track record of work with creative menus which reflect seasonal availability based on the concept of the restaurant, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, and enjoys being a teacher of the culinary arts supporting their team both personally and professionally.  The Sous Chef will assist with planning and execution of the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the hotel in a safe, sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations and achieves profitable competitive quality products.   YOUR ROLE:  - Attract, retain, and motivate the best culinary talent. - Act in the absence of the executive chef to complete the daily ordering using the current par levels for all outlets, employee cafeteria and banquets. - You may be required to perform any function within the culinary department (cook, steward etc). - Conduct daily walk throughs of the kitchen, make recommendations for corrections, repairs, cleanliness concerns and improvements if needed. - Conduct daily meetings with the team to ensure their preparation, communicating all pertinent information. - Attend weekly F&B meetings, BEO meetings, leadership meetings, monthly safety meeting and represent the culinary team. - Be the example that the culinary team follows. - Manage the finances of the department, analyze, and control costs and manage the budget to achieve a profitable operation. - Have thorough knowledge of food allergens and handle any guest with food allergies with a high sense of urgency. - Work with the culinary team to ensure prep sheets are updated and being properly used daily. - Guide the cleaning of all kitchen areas, follow up with stewarding crew to ensure dish area is clean and organized. - Assist the Executive Chef in the creation, costing, and implementation of (seasonal) menus and special menus.   COMPENSATION: $25 per hour Skamania Lodge has introduced the most competitive culinary wages in the area.
