This position will assist in leading the Security Department at the hotel; Assist in directing and oversee the implementation of all safety and security programs for the purpose of providing protection and a sense of well being to all guests and team members.

Position Summary: Assist and support the property Director of Finance, manage all functions of accounts receivables, ensure timely, accurate and efficient posting of financial information and collection of invoices, maintain exceptional record keeping and reporting functions in accordance with Pyramid policies, procedures and requirements.
Annual Salary (range): $75,000.00-$80,000.00
Responsibilities:
- Post payments on a daily basis for all payments received towards outstanding receivables and resolve any disputed amounts in a timely fashion.
- Prepare and mail out invoices for each group after departure.
- Assist with processing credit applications.
- Respond to credit card charge backs.
- Make collection calls on all accounts for Accounts Receivable.
- Attend Pre-Convention meetings.
- Prepare month end A/R reporting i.e., summary of A/R, write-off log and recovery list.
- Prepares month-end entries to the general ledger in accordance with Pyramid. Hotel Group Accounting Policies and 11th Edition standards with review and approval of the Director of Finance.
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations by deadlines established.
- Retrieves any G/L and journal entry information needed for audit or other purposes as instructed by the Director of Finance.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Assist with accounting tasks as instructed by the Director of Finance to include; monthly counting of banks, inventory, daily income audit, accounting office tasks such as filing, file purging and offsite storage.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end reports as directed by the Director of Finance.
- Assist with and/or prepare when needed reports which summarize, forecast and/or analyze hotel business activity and financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings.
- Assumes responsibilities of the Director of Finance in their absences.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance that may be considered necessary and appropriate for the successful operation of the Accounting Department.
