We are seeking a Sous Chef who will be responsible for assisting in the operations of the kitchen. This includes coordinating the activities of the line cooks and overseeing food production operations to ensure that quality standards are maintained for the restaurant and banquets.

We're looking for capable Room Attendants who can be flexible enough to work weekends. The Room Attendant cleans and vacuums guests rooms; collects soiled linens for laundering, make beds, replenishes room supplies, empties trash and responds to guests needs, maintaining a clean environment for hotel guests in accordance with the high quality standards of Pyramid Hotel Group.

Must be flexible to work weekends. Requirements: Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly manner. Sweep and mop floors; wash dishes, worktable, walls, vent hoods. Empty trash and other duties as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Server provides table service to restaurant patrons by taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that patrons have a pleasant dining experience.    SCHEDULE:  The hospitality industry is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days of the year. All candidates must be available and are expected to work evenings.   - Full-time: 30-40 hours per week depending on level of business forecasted - Part-time: 8-29 hours per week depending on level of business forecasted - Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecasted.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Greets guests as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided.  - Distributes menus and presents the daily specials.  - Answers questions regarding the menu.  - Takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen.  - Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests.  - Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to guests' satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.  - Collects plates and clears the table as guests finish their meals.  - Prepares guests' checks and collects payments.  - Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.  - Performs other related duties as assigned.

The General Manager has overall responsibility for the successful operation of the hotel and for meeting or exceeding its financial objectives.   The General Manager: - Directs the total operation of the hotel to maintain established cost and quality standards. - Attains projected revenue and profit levels. - Achieves guests" satisfaction goals and ensures maintenance and security of the hotel's physical assets. - Develops and updates the hotel business plan and monitors financial performance. - Administers company policy and procedures. - Assures staff are recruited, selected, trained, counseled and rewarded to maintain performance standards while "providing service beyond expectations".    

Responsible for maintaining, setting up, food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasonings and other food items prepared in the broiler and saute stations, as well as the grill and other stations as needed.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   Prepares all hot food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest. Visually inspects, selects and uses only food items ideal for sauteing, in the preparation of all menu items.   Ensures daily production chart is properly filled out to standards.        Checks and controls the proper storage of product (stocks and sauces needing special attention), and portion control size.        Keep all refrigeration, storage and working areas in clean, working condition to comply with Health Department regulations.        Ability to read and perform Use Record Specifications.        Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition.        Practice Teamwork" and "Clean as you go" policies.        Prepares requisition for supplies and food items for production in the work station. Reads and employs math skills to appropriately prepare items according to recipes

Duties include: - Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities for the hotel to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas. - Inspect guest rooms, public areas, & heart of the house for cleanliness. - Train, motivate, coach, counsel, & discipline staff members. - Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program. - Prepare weekly schedule. - Maintain supply and linen inventories. - Update room statuses in the computer. - Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient, & friendly manner.

We're looking for a dedicated, hard-working Houseperson who will be responsible for assisting room attendants and responding to guest calls. Must have excellent customer service skills.

We are seeking enthusiastic and capable Coffee Break Attendant to set-up, maintenance and tear down of all coffee breaks.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Monitoring and continuously refreshing coffee and food items as necessary. - Heat pastries, make custome orders, and effectively charges guests for orders. - Upsells - The flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand (hotel open 7 days a week.) - Perform other duties as requested.

- Demonstrate your ability to be a team player. - Run food to table in a timely and efficient manner. - Set up and clear tables, stock all service stations and assist servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction. - Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. - Promptly and consistently reset all service-ware as prescribed. - Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments. - Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. - Practice "Teamwork" and "Clean as you go" policies. - Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning. - Attend monthly departmental meetings. - Follow proper standards and etiquette for room service deliveries. - Memorize table numbers and seat numbers of the dining room and bar. - Follow opening & closing side work sheet for food runner position Demonstrate Superior Team Work Skills- this position interfaces with many different members of the team.
