JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all human resources activities in a manner consistent with the strategy and policies of the Company. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Human Resources department including but not limited to recruitment and hiring, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with all applicable employment Federal, State and Local laws and regulations regarding employment practices (e.g., EEO, FMLA, OFLA, ADA, FEHA, etc.). The Human Resources Coordinator role will also assist with accounting tasks. Minimum of one year of Human Resources experience required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)
- Coordinates the administration, enrollment, and communication of and adherence to procedures relative to employee benefits.
- Utilize professionalism and appropriate levels of confidentiality in handling employee personnel matters.
- Prepare and post advertisements for job vacancies, respond to applicant’s inquiries, schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, gather information, and complete all required documentation for newly hired employees.
- Coordinate and assist in new employee orientation and training.
- Coordinate employee performance reviews, while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality in employee documents.
- Coordinate employer-sponsored community and employee events, to include employee appreciation, holiday party, job fairs etc.
- Assist in coordinating enrollment into group benefits offered by the company. Assist in the implementation, administration, communication of Company benefits, monitor plan eligibility, confer with providers and third-party administering agencies, and interpret plan policies, coverage documents, and benefits procedural requirements.
- Maintain accurate employment records, including personnel files.
- Contribute to company health and safety initiatives.
- Manages all Unemployment and Worker’s compensation claims.
- Accounting duties.

- Examine employee files to respond to inquiries and to provide information for personnel actions.
- Record employee data, such as address, rate of pay, absences, and benefits through the HRIS system.
- Maintain and update employee records to document personnel actions and changes in employee status.
- Assist in processing and reviewing employment applications to evaluate qualifications and eligibility of job applicants.
- Answer job applicant and team members questions regarding eligibility, compensation, benefits, and other pertinent information.
- Prepare listing of position vacancies and notify current employees, applicants, and third-party recruiting sources of position availability.
- Communicate with applicants and employees regarding the company’s policies and procedures.
- Explain company insurance policies and options to employees.

Must be flexible to work weekends. Requirements: Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly manner. Sweep and mop floors; wash dishes, worktable, walls, vent hoods. Empty trash and other duties as required.
Responsible for maintaining, setting up, food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasonings and other food items prepared in the broiler and saute stations, as well as the grill and other stations as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepares all hot food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest. Visually inspects, selects and uses only food items ideal for sauteing, in the preparation of all menu items. Ensures daily production chart is properly filled out to standards.
Checks and controls the proper storage of product (stocks and sauces needing special attention), and portion control size.
Keep all refrigeration, storage and working areas in clean, working condition to comply with Health Department regulations.
Ability to read and perform Use Record Specifications.
Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition.

Prepares requisition for supplies and food items for production in the work station.

We're looking for a dedicated, hard-working Houseperson who will be responsible for assisting room attendants and responding to guest calls.

POSITION PURPOSE:
Set up of Banquet Room and serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner according to Pyramid Hotels' high standards of quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, serviceware and glassware.
Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.
Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain to ensure consistency in the order throughout the banquet. Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.
Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
