What you will have an opportunity to do:   Laundry Attendants play an integral role in ensuring that each of our customers have an exceptional stay at our resort. Laundry Attendants are responsible for tending to the efficient cleaning, drying and folding of towels, linens, spa robes and other items that keep our rooms, pools, restaurants and spa properly stocked for the staff and guests to utilize.    Your Role:   - Proper utilization of equipment, supplies and guest amenities, including opening of department procedures and end of day closing procedures to ensure department is secure and safe. - Sort linens, towels and other items on a daily basis.  - Responsible care of equipment and machines. - Load / unload washers and dryers, folders, ironer in proper manner, including the cleaning of lint traps. - Report any problems or malfunctions of Laundry equipment to supervisor. - Inspect room linens before placing in rooms and return below standard pieces to Housekeeping. - Strict follow through on lost and found procedures.  Absolute respect for guests’ property should always be exercised. - Constant awareness of safety hazards (i.e. bloodborne pathogens, chemical awareness, improperly working machine) and report to Supervisor or the Housekeeping Office. What you will have an opportunity to do:   The Rooms Operations Manager assists the Director of Rooms in managing the execution of all operations in the Rooms Division (e.g. Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, and Guest Services). What you will have an opportunity to do:   Our stewarding team of dishwashers and cleaners are behind the scenes, but they play an integral role in the success of our food and beverage operations!  These roles are an important part of the Abbey food and beverage team and must be energized, motivated.  We need someone who has a keen eye for cleanliness.  They are also responsible for keep the dish pit clean and are expected to complete janitorial duties such as sweeping and mopping.   Your Role: - Ensure all kettles are cleaned when shift begins. - Properly operate and maintain dish machine according to manufacturer's standards. - Receive, scrape, rinse, and rack dishes/utensils. - Unload dish machine, stack, store, and return dishes/utensils to proper area of kitchen. - Inspects dishes after they have been cleaned and prior to storing to ensure they are clean and in good repair. - Wash all pots and pans and store neatly. - Changes cleaning solution and ensures proper sanitation is followed. - Empty garbage cans in dish area and throughout kitchen as needed. Clean and dry floors to avoid slip/fall accidents and replace floor mats. - Transport soiled ware to wash area and return empty trucks to bus area, if an outside function. - Wipe down counter tops and preparation areas in order to maintain a clean, efficient operation. - Restock area with required supplies. - Handle cleaning chemicals according to prescribed safety standards. - Assist with the lifting and moving of food carts, dish storage racks and other kitchen equipment as directed by supervisor. - Meet all cleaning and sanitation requirements. What you will have an opportunity to do:   We are looking for a highly engaging, compassionate, customer focused individual to join our Catering and Conference Services team as a Catering and Conference Services Coordinator.  The successful candidate for this role is engaging, full of energy, is open to learning, and responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team.      Catering and Conference Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of duties within the department including, but not limited to:  general office administration, office supply inventory, client file maintenance, typing, reporting, assisting managers with groups needs and other clerical support duties as needed.   Your Role: - Provides operational and administrative department support to Catering and Conference Services managers and department, may at times include assisting with events. - Responsible for communicating updates and changes to All Departments regarding including, but not limited to:  Event Changes, BEO’s, Resumes, Restaurant Requests, Transportation Requests, Gift Bag Deliveries and responsible for maintaining up to date information for all Departments regarding the above. - Provides support to Catering and Conference Service Managers regarding all aspects of Banquet Event Order (BEO) management from creation to completion and execution. - Coordinates with leaders and prepares purchase requisitions, expense reports and check requisitions for Catering and Conference Service Managers.  - Coordinates and partners with other departments to ensure all information pertaining to events is up to date in the system. - Assists with ordering, coordination of details for each event, including but not limited to, menus, flowers, music, and printed materials. - Attends and participates in Catering and Conference Services Meetings, may include attending BEO meetings and/or other sales, marketing or F&B meetings, communicates all follow-up items to the Catering and Conference Service managers, organizes notes and assists in process improvements. - Assists in evaluating Catering and Conference Services correspondence, prepares responses as appropriate. - Able to sit for extended periods of time at desk or walking and standing up to 8 hours. - Able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs. - Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned. - Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime, or reduced hours.   Your Environment: Controlled indoor temperatures, could experience high temperatures and high humidity or colder when assisting outdoors.  Varied lighting from dim to bright.  Varied volume levels based on work area, i.e., open kitchen area versus closed office area versus full restaurant/banquet area.  Standing and walking on hard surface tile flooring, possibility for wet floors, grass, pool deck and carpet - non-slip shoes a must!
